The author learned from the meeting that during the 13th Five Year Plan period, the high-quality development of construction enterprises in our district has made important contributions to the development of the national economy, urban and rural environmental construction, and the improvement of people's livelihoods throughout the region.
Achieve a new leap in comprehensive strength. Since the 13th Five Year Plan period, the construction industry in our district has achieved a total construction output value of 917.1 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 6.3%. The average annual number of employees in the construction industry is over 330000. The total tax payment has been increasing year by year, with a total of 6.784 billion yuan paid in construction industry taxes throughout the region, contributing approximately 16% to the local economy. In the past five years, there have been 3 newly added enterprises with special qualifications, 13 enterprises with first level qualifications, 78 enterprises with second level qualifications, and 273 additional projects. At present, there are 395 construction enterprises in our district, including 6 special level enterprises, 39 first level enterprises, 138 second level enterprises, and 125 third level enterprises.
New steps have been taken in transformation and upgrading. Two construction and real estate enterprises have joined the top 50 in the comprehensive strength of the real estate development industry in Jiangsu Province. The Tongzhou "Zhucaiwang" building materials e-commerce trading platform has achieved a transaction volume of over 90 billion yuan. There are 13 prefabricated PC component scale enterprises in the entire region, 13 prefabricated production bases have been built, and 3 provincial-level construction industry modernization demonstration bases have been built.
Market development presents a new pattern. During the 13th Five Year Plan period, one regional market with an annual construction output value of over 10 billion yuan was added, and six regional markets with an annual construction output value of between 5 billion yuan and 10 billion yuan were added, covering 30 provinces (cities, autonomous regions) across the country.
New achievements have been made in engineering excellence creation. During the 13th Five Year Plan period, construction enterprises in the entire region won a total of 7 Luban Awards, with a total of 59 Luban Awards, of which 41 were independently constructed, leading the way in counties and cities across the country. Received 18 national excellent awards, 2 Zhan Tianyou awards, 37 national professional awards such as the China Construction Engineering Decoration Award, China Installation Star, and China Steel Structure Gold Award, as well as 197 provincial-level high-quality engineering awards such as the Yangtze Cup and Magnolia. Three provincial-level engineering technology research centers have been established. Currently, the construction industry in the region has three national level postdoctoral research workstations and six provincial-level engineering technology research centers. Add 102 provincial-level or above construction methods, 265 patents, 447 QC achievements, and 162 technology demonstration application projects.
At the meeting, our company was recognized as a "key enterprise contributing to the economic development of the entire region", Chairman Zhou Zhiming as an "excellent entrepreneur in the construction industry development of Tongzhou District in 2020", and Vice General Managers Gu Zonghua and Xing Yuepeng as "excellent project managers of Tongzhou Iron Army in 2020".
